Not only well engineered but very sturdy and sound fantastic threw-out the FR. This is just how tough they are, my granddaughter decided to play push the pretty buttons on my newly built Bagby Manilins I built on both the SB17NRC woofs and the SB29s and the tweet center dimple came loose and on the woofed the dust cover crushed. The dust cover was a easy fix as its a normal size and easy to find in many different materials, the tweet came apart very easy and just a speck of speaker glue and it was attached again too and has lasted . I checked the distortion and FR just to make sure nothing was binding or out of spec and all is well. NICE DRIVERS!

'These things are awesome, not nearly as large as they appear in the image, very easily mounted with really no problems at all, very well built, and the sound mmm the sound, they are superb, I have them replacing some titanium dome tweets in a JBL set I have because they got to harsh in the 12k range, and things thing maintain the accuracy I wanted in those ranges, but didn't scream at me. They sound very rich, and handle power very nicely. I have them passive but they if I were to runt hem active I could really do some sweet stuff with them. I'm using them as car speakers; they would make incredible monitor tweeters or whatever you want to do! a must buy, best bang for your buck, only problem with them for indoor use is the resistance is a bit low you'd have to have 2 in series to get them running good in a normal speaker box set up. But they would sound amazing with that set up I'm sure. I got 2 for my front stage in my car, 1 for each side. They work great :)' Review by Ray Hower. Posted by Madisound.

'Very good tweeter well worth the money spent. How do they sound? Great very detailed some work involved in voicing because they are so sensitive. The small flange is helpful to keep the centers close I used them in an all SB center channel as well as MTMMM mains both worked well. Highly recommended for MTM configuration.' 'They are a great tweeter, just finish up a project using these tweeters, wow nice soundstage and detail, I used a pio cap and bare copper wire treated with silclear in a cotton cover sleeve, I am still amazed on the detail that comes through, for a 100.00 dollars a pair, they will be hard to beat, and you won't be sorry' Review by kevin deem. 'I've been a fan of SB Acoustics drivers for years but they've outdone themselves with this one! This is by far the most amazing tweeter for the money and in my opinion it destroys my Seas Excel T29's and my ScanSpeak 2905's.
