The Eton 26HD3 has flat and extended frequency response.  The magnesium/ceramic combination doesn't have the typical breakup in the upper frequencies that you usually find in hard dome tweeters.  They are also quite stylish too.

Great bang for the buck tweeter. Very clear and non directional due to the baffle/waveguide they use to protect the dome. They provide the Sizzle without burning the steak.

Astounding Clarity
The choice of high frequency driver is perhaps the most critical for attaining the highest level of sonic clarity of any speaker system. Hard dome tweeters are sometimes preferred for this reason. When used in an active crossover based system however, some hard dome tweeters can produce a level of brilliance that actually annoys the ears. Others just do not rise to the level of clarity that is possible. I have used a number of tweeters in active speaker systems, both hard and soft dome types, in search for the perfect balance of sparkle that some tweeters lack, and without unpleasant harshness that accompanies others. These new Etons provide that perfect balance that I was looking for.
