SB Acoustics 8" coated paper cone woofer. 8 ohm impedance. This 8 ohm woofer features Norex paper cone with special coating (Egyptian papyrus and long fibers), rigid cast frame design for minimal reflections, rubber surround, shorting ring to reduce distortion, and shallow 3-1/8" depth. Qts of 0.38 allows for either sealed or vented boxes. The woofer has a proprietary composition paper cone made in-house and a rigid cast frame with ventilated spider and large vented pole piece. A low damping rubber surround assures decent midrange reproduction. A shorting ring is used in the motor to reduce intermodulation distortion and improve inductance symmetry.

• Vented box of 1.25 cubic feet with 2" diameter vent by 4" long has F3 of 38Hz
• Vented box of 1.75 cubic feet with 3" diameter vent by 8" long has F3 of 32Hz
