Peerless #830657 SDS Line 6.5" Woofer

The SDS compact subwoofer family offers low resonant frequency performance, ideally suited for compact sealed enclosures. This 6.5 inch 8 ohm member of the SDS family offer a coated paper cone with rubber surround, a high power voice coil suspended in a ferrite magnet motor, and a narrow profile steel basket, shaped to fit into narrow cabinets.

This woofers I have for 15 years, as a cheap joke project, and I cannot believe what they are capable of. I crossed at 1500hz and tweeter morel mdt20 at 1800hz and on 180 watts with B&K sound so clean no distortion at all and bass its better then some 8" woofers, my window glasses are shaking. They sound just like Sb acoustics paper cone in midrange but much more bass, you really don't need subwoofer. See on the woofer programs what is gonna show you, similar to 8" woofers

Recommended by Madisound who were very helpful and they did some cabinet modelling to find a suitable driver to replace KEF B160/SP1275 that were blown in KEF reference 103.4. Excellent driver that has heaps of bass and works well as a replacement for the original KEF woofer. Thanks Madisound!
