Product review of 830668, 'Very happy! I would definitely recommend this driver to someone if it fit their criteria. Clean bass at a great price. I used these to replace some old Peerless drivers in a pair of Bang & Olufsen Beovox MS150 speaker that had been damaged. They are in a smaller than optimum vented enclosure (bass extension-wise), but in Unibox, model exactly like the old drivers. ~57 liters tuned to 35Hz is down about 8dB at 30Hz with the B&O Xover, but I’ll be using a sub, so it’s fine. Down to around 40Hz sounds fine, and even though it’s attenuated below that, it’s still nice and clean at any listening level (using a very, very conservative 100W B&O receiver). I can hear a small improvement in clarity and definition over the one old OEM Peerless driver left that still had its magnet attached. The frame is awesome for stamped steel - nice and heavy. There’s ventilation everywhere, behind the spider, and through the magnet for the voice coil too. Both build quality and sound qualities are very nice.' Review by Jonathan Baxter. Posted by Madisound.
