Great replacement for Advent Legacy

I bought a pair of ScanSpeak 26W/8534G woofers to replace the woofers in my Advent Legacy speakers after disappointing results from my attempt to replace the foam on the original woofers. The sound with the new ScanSpeak woofers is excellent and I am very pleased with my purchase.

The original woofers do not appear to be available any more and the ScanSpeak woofers looked like a better replacement than the recommended replacements I found. The ScanSpeak woofers were a *perfect* fit for the cutout in the Legacy cabinets. The ScanSpeak woofers have six mounting holes vs. four used for the original woofers so I had to drill new screw holes. I think this is actually a plus because I didn't have to worry about cross-threading the existing screw holes when inserting the screws.
