SB Acoustics SB13PFC25-08 5" Paper Cone Woofer 8 ohm

Very good value per dollar. If you would like to build a very good sounding and inexpensive 2 way speaker use this as the woofer and the SB Acoustics SB26STCN-C000-4 for the tweeter and they blend together fantastic with very few crossover parts! It just amazed me as too what these two drivers together ended up as, great sound per dollar! The all around value leader!

I bought 16 of these to build 2- line Arrays paired with 2- each Dayton Planar tweeters. the case is tuned with dual 3" ports to 45Hz and you would not believe the bass these little drivers put out . there is no need for a sub . unlike other Line-Arrays Iv built these are tight bass and carry upper feqs well up to 5000hz were i have them crossed . I actually tuned my EQ down in these 30Hz- 5000hz because of the higher SP rating of these . I'm very pleased with such a Value woofer as these. And don't be afraid of the polymer frames on these ,iv crank them hard @ 300 watts and there crystal clear . id buy them again...

I used this in a small FAST design crossed at about 600Hz to a 4" full range. It has excellent bass for it's size in 8 liters, good sound quality and detail. Also, seems very well made for the price. Odd frame shape, but it can be recessed with a little extra effort.
