Excellent for music!

I have tried matching up many subwoofers to a pair of 4" full range satellite speakers. The list includes 8" Dayton RSS HO and HF and a 10" Peerless XXLS. I prefer the sound of this SB over the rest. It really does the range of 50-100 hz right. Other subwoofers sound strained above 80hz and may do better under 40hz, but for music listening this SB is best.
Brilliant for desktop Setup

Used this driver for a 2.1 desktop setup and I am very satisfied with the drivers performance. Blends naturally with desktop speakers and has a usable and clean response down into the mid 20s. For a larger room I suspect this would play well into the 30s but run out of gas any lower.
Build a 13" cube out of 3/4" birch ply lined with a single layer of 3" rockwool insulation. Paired this with a 10" Dayton Audio Reference Series passive radiator and a Dayton Audio 250w DSP plate amp. I ran 2 weights on the radiator which gave box of about a tuning of 26Hz. Model showed an F3 of 43Hz and an F6 of 27Hz. With DSP in the plate amp and a 80Hz HPF I was able to get an in room response of 26HZ - 90Hz +/- 3db.
Overall I am really impressed with this driver and it's ability to play very cleanly blend with my speakers with a small footprint.
One note, I did experience the rubber surround separating from the basket after about 10-15 hours of play time. I was able to repair using Goop adhesive and have not had any other issues since.
