Box recommendations:

Sealed box of 0.45 to 0.55 cubic feet for F3 of 55Hz. You would need to use a bass boost or DSP to push the driver into lower frequencies. The F6 is 42Hz and F10 is 31Hz.

Vented box of 1.2 cubic feet with a 2" port by 8" long for F3 of 30Hz.

Generally I'd describe this sub as a sub-bass capable woofer with a wide usable range and possessing surprising clarity in the mids. I was able to cross it with a horn at 1.2khz (horn has an L-Pad) and the two blend together surprisingly well. It's cheaper than the other woofers (Aurum Cantus/Morel Hybrid Series) I tried and sounds better than them in all ways (subjectively). One especially nice improvement is the lack of cone breakup up to 1.2khz, that and the smooth response dispel any need for a Zobel network to control the top end.
