SEAS Prestige 27TFFNC/G (H1396) 1" Textile Dome Tweeter

These are great tweeters!

Using in car audio mounted in the sail panels of a vw Jetta.

So maybe 30-45 degrees off axis, aimed directly at the center of the vehicles front seats, roughly chest high slightly pointed upward (for people that would like to know how close to on axis)

Two things stand out about this tweeter, first and foremost I think this may be one of the best assembled and toughest tweeters I have ever seen, they are just tough enough you could most likely throw it against the wall and pick it up and use it - just very durable all the way down to the finish and the plastic (I’ve had to use it for modeling the pods, and I’m lazy and didn’t tape them up, banging them slightly on things along the way)

Number 2, the sound!

They are neutral , they sound really nice with no eq but not very bright until your into the brilliance territory of the sound spectrum- but are totally capable of no hiss or any type of unwanted noise if you want to crank up 6khz to 20khz with added eq, they could also easily be tamed for someone that likes an even more flat but detailed tweeter.

They are not as detailed as some others but then again - with eq- they can be- make sense?

I found these by a guy on Facebook. Was sketchy at first Bc I had never heard of the brand. Installation was straight forward, just spade terminals. But holy shit these blow my old JL c1 tweeters and cost the same. These sound clear as hell, loud as shit, and aren’t harsh to the ears at all! Highly recommend!!

I have never heard such clarity out of a tweeter before. I hear notes ive never heard before and absolutly zero distortion. They are definatly worth the money! I would reccomend these to anybody trying to build a component system!
