Supra Cat 8 offers future-proof networking by handling 40GBASE-T over a single cable! Furthermore, it is backward compatible with the Cat 6A standard. Supra Cat 8 ready cables (patch cables), available in a number of lengths are equipped with our greatly improved RJ45 connector to keep up with the new speed. From Cat 6A, the speed is four times higher in Cat 8 with its bandwidth of 2000 MHz!
Supra Cat 8 is advantageously used in TCP/IP and UDP applications where accurate data flow is very critical and the time to be able to retransmit lost bit packets is limited, for example 4K and 8K video streaming, music that is highly oversampled and high definition, computer games, data centers and installation of modern networks in workplaces, public premises, hotels and conference facilities, and more. With its very high bandwidth, lagging video conferences and the latest level of high-definition film, games and video are avoided.
The Supra Cat 8 is built with double screens instead of a single screen to avoid interference and data loss. Furthermore, its larger conductor area is particularly suitable for PoE (Power over Ethernet) with its lower loss and voltage drop.
