Neodymium magnet for mounting grills to loudspeaker cabinets. Each
- 0.375" in diameter (9.53mm) (3/8")
- 0.125" deep (3.175mm) (1/8")
- Very strong N50 neodymium magnet (about 6.9 pounds pull)
- Nickel-Copper-Nickel triple layer coated for maximum neodymium magnets durability and protection again corrosion
You can mount a magnet in the face of the cabinet and a magnet in the grill frame, making sure that they will be attracting and not repelling each other. You can mount the magnet in the cabinet and then veneer over it, so you end up with a very clean look when not using the grill. Some people mount a magnet in either the grill or cabinet and then use a small piece of steel on the other part. It must be magnetic to work.
Weld Lock seems to work as an adhesive for these.
