Unless you have a big power amp, you may never break these in. I use an older 125 watt continuous power amp, and at 30 hours they are coming around. I have them mated to the Hi-Vi ribbon tweeter, and the output is dynamic. If you see the Swan M1 MKII, you will see a similar setup. Theirs is the 6.5" version which is not available.
