This kit features two Hi-Vi L6-8R woven kevlar cone woofers paired with the WaveCor 1" dome tweeter in a 1.5 cf3 to 2.0 cf3 vented box.

You will construct your box @ 1.5 cf3 internal box volume with internal dimensions of 20"H x 12"W x 7.5"D, with crossovers mounted on side walls or externally. Single 3" x 6.5" straight vent. F3= 51 Hz. We don't have finished cabinets or box drawing at this time- so we leave it to your woodworking skills to make this cabinet. We've included a sample front panel layout with offset tweeter below if you want to work around that.

Crossovers will be fully assembled on Madisound 103B Boards using high quality MDL brand XPP film caps for C1 and C2 and our U.S. Coils Steel Laminate 18awg for L2 low pass inductor.

The woven cone on the L6-8R has exceptional midrange and vocal clarity, with smooth response and gradual roll off on the top end.  

The WaveCor tweeter features a 30mm diaphragm and controlled off-axis and power response, high power handling, and low resonance frequency.
