Yes, these are only $19.00/each and in perfect-brand new-never used condition! We aquired them through a surplus purchase from Dolby Labs at a great price.

Note on excursion specification: the voice coil is even hung with the top plate, thus the mathematical value of zero for the Xmax. They will Klippel test at about 3 mm one way.
Note on packaging: these speakers were supplied to the OEM customer in bulk packaging and will not have decorative beauty boxes. They will be packed in a plain cardboard box.

Excellent mid/midwoofer
Reviewed by Humushorti on 03/07/2026
I was eyeing these for quite some time before ordering some on a whim. I'm very glad I did! First off- the build quality was immediately apparent upon examining the driver. Built like a tank. Thick plates, big grated vent on the pole piece, and the most substantial stamped steel basket I've seen on a 6" driver. The rubber gasket is another nice touch.
In terms of T/S parameters, Bl is above average and grants a respectable bl²/re when wired 4x. I've only measured them in a sealed enclosure as of yet. HornResp sims are looking promising. I think these drivers would be an excellent choice for anyone looking to experiment with multi-woofer layouts (slot loaded, isobaric, etc), multi-entry horns and the like.

Great for Peavey Audition Chorus

A pair of these worked very well in an old 1989 Peavey Audition Chorus, a cool little guitar amp I got for free at the town transfer station. The foam surrounds on the original speakers were completely gone. Instead of refoaming them, I upgraded to these classy Emis. Not their intended use, but they sound great. No problem with 16 ohms (originals were 8), and they don't seem to mind the open-back cabinet at all. Quite a bargain.
