This is an exciting new addition to the SB17NRX family and notably features a large 120mm motor system. This increases sensitivity and dynamics are presented with more scale and punch. Be aware the larger motor will not result in more/deeper bass in a conventional bass reflex alignment as is dictated by the lower electrical Q of this larger motor system. Very compact sealed enclosures augmented by DSP will suit well, as will other applications where sensitivity and output are prioritized, for example home cinema with separate subwoofers. Transmission line and horn loaded enclosures may also be considered for this driver. Available in 4 and 8 ohm.

Some Sample Boxes:

• 4 liters sealed and stuffed: F3= 153 Hz.
• 6 liters vented with minimal damping: Fb about 53 Hz, F3=82 Hz (1" x 3.9" could be tried for this small bass reflex)
