Sasandu, also called Sasando, means “sounded instrument” and is a traditional Indonesian harp-like stringed instrument with a body made from bamboo and native type of leaves. The Sasandu is a no-compromise speaker kit designed to reproduce music as faithfully as possible.
The SASANDU TX is a large 3-way floor standing speaker showcasing the SATORI TW29TXN-B-8 advanced TeXtreme® dome tweeter known for it’s extreme resolution and dynamics yet relaxed presentation. The midrange is covered by the 6½” SATORI MW16TX-4 TeXtreme® cone midwoofer housed in a dedicated large sealed midrange chamber for low compression and wonderful open midrange. Each speaker is solidly anchored in the lower octaves by two 7½” SATORI MW19TX-8 for a deep, tight and satisfyingly musical bass.
The optional cabinets are masterfully crafted from 28, 18, and 15 mm MDF with strategic internal bracing to distribute cabinet vibrations and lower sound coloration. A slanted internal partition reduces internal standing waves and the oversize 75 mm port at the rear ensures uncompressed bass even at very high listening levels.

Assembled Crossover Information
The tweeter and midrange have Mundorf MResist Supreme Resistors in line with the drivers. The series tweeter cap is the Mundorf Supreme EVO Oil Capacitor 4.7 mfd. The series midrange cap is the Mundorf 56mfd EVO Oil Capacitor and the series coil is the Mundorf MCoil Foil 16 awg air core 0.56 mH. An ultra low DCR 3.3 mH Steel Laminate Inductor 15 AWG is used on the woofers. Upgrade options are available from the drop down menu.
Each crossover is professionally assembled by Madisound on our silver tinned inlaid OFC copper circuit boards. The woofer section is on a 103B Circuit Board, the midrange section is on a Matrix Double Circuit Board, and the tweeter section on a Matrix Circuit Board. The woofer and tweeter board can be mounted on the plint at the bass of the speaker cabinet. The midrange board can mount to the side wall right above that area, below the brace at the bottom of the woofer chamber. Crossosvers using the Goertz Copper Foil 12awg inductor are on larger boards, one is mounted to the plint and the others on the side walls above that area.
The cabinet includes a single set of binding posts on their own mounting plate. You will need to wire all 3 boards to those binding posts. Soldering the 3 sets of wires to the posts is one option. Another is to run the wires from the binding posts to one of the boards, then jumpers from there the other boards. You may also choose to bi-wire or tri-wire the speakers, in which case installation of additional binding posts to the rear of the cabinet would be required.
