Calling a $12.50 speaker "possibly the best 3" full range driver made" seemed like hyperbole to me. No, this is not hype, they are close. I have them in service as computer speakers in a 2 liter box on ear level stands using a 25wpc t amp and couldn't be happier.
At this price point they are a steal!

i've got to get more of these !!!!!. i put them in a .174 ft3 box, ported 1" tube 3.2" long tuned to 55hz ( i made the box while waiting for delivery)... i am really impressed already and they only have 1 hour on them....and at $12.50????....well what can i say

Amazing Bass

Built a set of 3 liter prototype vented enclosures tuned to 60hz with a theoretical F3 of 66Hz. The bass response from these is truly amazing, you'd swear that my sub is connected and I had to double check that it wasn't. The single crossover-less design helps to produce a very tight and dynamic sound with excellent imaging, maybe a little light on the top but that balances with the natural rolloff of the very lowest octaves. Unparalleled sound quality from such a small and inexpensive speaker, I'm going to buy more of these while they last at this price.

At first I was not sure if I liked, were kind of harsh. But after about 20 hrs. of play that have mellowed and I am very happy with them now. I put them in a 5 inch cube and use for computer setup with a 20 watt amp, Far better than anything you can get in the store for your computer.
