Low Q, looks good for small vented box (see below). Crisp and detailed midrange. Could be used 2way with low Fs tweeter. New Black Aluminum cone from SB. The cone is crimped in four spots for additional stiffness. Smooth upper midrange especially off-axis.

Very nice small mid-bass

You gotta love it when you find something that performs way beyond your expectations. These SB mid-bass drivers do just that. I was quite surprised at the solid low end these can produce in 14 liters or a little less. The mids are great too. I've heard the ceramic version and it's an equally impressive driver that delivers on the slight uptick in price.
