Audax HM130C0 5.25" Carbon Fiber Cone Woofer- 136mm- 8 ohm

Designed for high end systems, these drivers utilize a very stiff and lightweight woven carbon fiber cone. The use of this material results in dynamic bass response, superb midrange clarity and an extremely natural top end roll off. Unobstructed venting of the Zamak die cast chassis, plus the use of a vented pole piece, contributes to the dramatic transient response. Other features include a high compliance rubber suspension, soft polymer dust cap, edgewound copper voice coil on a fiberglass reinforced Kapton former, and gold plated terminals. Designed to excel in compact 2-way systems, this driver provides a very flat and extended frequency response. Made in France.

 This driver is the same frame size as many older NLA Focal drivers. It is an exact drop in and should be a considered a good replacement. The only difference is this Audax frame is 6.8mm thick, where the Focal is 5mm thick.  Drop in replacment for the Audax midrange in the Von Schweikert VR4 Gen 1.
