Fostex T500AMkII Horn Super Tweeter

Top-of-the line Fostex Japan! Pure magnesium diaphragm provides less unpleasant overtones than many other types of metal domes. The T500's strong magnet system uses two 40mm diameter Alnico magnets. Voice coil is wound with Silver-Copper alloy wire, with the same material at 1.4mm used for internal wiring. Ideal to mate with Fostex full-range cone drivers.

• Pure magnesium diaphragm having superior internal loss and less unpleasant sound inherent in metal material realizes the super high frequency reproduction.
• Stronger magnetic circuit using two pieces of ø40mm alnico magnets.
• High rigidity Silver-Copper alloy wire is used for the voice coil, and ø1.4mm of the same material wire is used for internal connections.
• Newly designed horn with new cutoff frequency is made of ultra-precision cut solid brass.
• Copper terminal & coated plate/pole realize the super-low distortion current.
• Tungsten diaphragm ring & washers are employed to reduce vibrations largely.
