Tozzi One is a high-end single driver loudspeaker. It incorporates cutting-edge full-range driver engineering with a sub-compact enclosure designed with the latest in industrial design techniques. Its range and bass performance are remarkable for this class of purist miniature loudspeaker.
Tozzi One uses a single custom high-performance all-range drive unit, the CHN-50, also designed by Mark Fenlon, it produces exceptional range for a sub-compact speaker. Output stretches from upper bass notes to beyond the upper limit of human hearing. The advanced alloy cone has a very shallow profile, and with the signature Tozzi waveguide, gives excellent dispersion of sound energy into the room. Long-stroke suspension avoids excess compression producing clean, precise and phase-accurate sound. No filter is used; the output of the amplifier goes direct to the driver.
BUILT FROM THE GROUND UP
MarkAudio loudspeakers are built from the ground up, including the cabinets, crossovers and speaker drivers. Many manufacturers choose off-the-shelf components that aren’t always a perfect match to their system design targets, MarkAudio, purists by engineering standards, build their components to precisely match the specific design characteristics of the speaker systems.
ALL-RANGE DRIVER APPROACH
MarkAudio's unique all-range approach offers the rich midrange that is typical of a wide-range single speaker design, while providing a full frequency range extending from 80Hz to 25kHz, and the high-impact dynamics of more typical multi-way speakers. Using the CHN-50 all-range driver, its low mass magnesium cone provides superior transparency and detail.
SYMMETRICAL SOUND FIELD
MarkAudio uses its own symmetrical technology. The dual, wide dispersion, shallow-profile cone drivers replace conventional cone-woofer and dome-tweeter combinations. With their matched dispersion and output characteristics, along with a minimal crossover slope, the drivers provide an audibly seamless integration between high and low frequencies. This integration results in a smooth, natural output and soundstage that affords a wider range of seating positions, allowing several people to hear a top quality performance at one time.
ADVANCED CABINET ENGINEERING
Tozzi One is constructed from three rigid sub-structures. They are made from a composite of Acrylonitrile-Butadiene- Styrene with reinforcing fibres. These can be produced to exceptional tolerances, have a long service life and are cosmetically attractive. The front and central sub-structures are precision aligned and bonded to create a stable primary assembly. The rear panel is then mechanically secured, completing the structure.
STYLING
Tozzi One was developed by Mark Fenlon, the British engineer responsible for the internationally acclaimed Alpair loudspeaker drive units. Mark’s concept was to develop a sub-compact loudspeaker to partner our flagship Viotti One standmount, using advanced composite materials that suit modern decor and living requirements.
The size and styling echoes compact high-quality cameras, and Tozzi One can be mounted on any standard camera or photo-light tripod, making it a great lifestyle icon in modern living spaces. It can also be used on desktops, shelves or wall brackets. Three choices of finish are available, giving a fresh, modern appearance to this unique product.

I’m using these speakers with a Raspberry Pi and a Hifi Berry Amp2 in my kitchen and the sound is wonderful. They’re near field, my head is 3-5 feet from them as I listen. They’re detailed without being harsh and although there’s no true deep bass the sound is way fuller than I expected. They’re very satisfying and enjoyable to listen to, and let the musical nuances through the system in a beautiful way. I added a shelf filter boosting the bass by 1 dB at 120 hz and a second one doing the same at 60 hz. I’m totally satisfied and intrigued to try the larger models from Mark Audio.
Transparent, musical, affordable

I built a pair of these in red for my home office. I think they are outstanding sounding. Warm tonal character, highly coherent, and tonally rich. I use them with a little Rel zero sub and the combo is outstanding. It's an easy build. Great for small spaces and lower powered electronics. I'm planning to build a second pair for my office at work.

This kit is very easy to assemble as it doesn't require any soldering, cutting or gluing. They are handsome looking and you can feel the quality. I followed the instructions for the break in of the drivers with 5 days of very low volume music followed by another 5 days of medium volume.
I use them as desktop speakers arranged at ear level for streaming audio. The sound quality is outstanding; imaging is first rate and you've never heard tone like this from a desktop speaker. If you sit in the vertex of the listening triangle you will be rewarded with lush tones of instruments and voices. I can't listen to them when I'm working because I'm too drawn into the music. I've listened to the whole Led Zeppelin catalog this way and it's like hearing the songs for the first time and really appreciating the grooves and musicianship, plus little details I never noticed before that were covered up by bass notes. These speakers do have bass but it's very balanced and not overwhelming. You can always add a sub but I think they sound best without one. They're also great for radio and podcasts as the voices come through with a warm rich tone.
They won't replace your floor standers and the off axis response is so so. But if you can work with their limitations they will show you a side of your music; pop, classical, jazz, folk, bluegrass, hip hop, that you likely didn't know existed. Highly recommended. Great value.
Other equipment I own: Revel Performa M22's, Sonus faber Toy Towers and Minuettos, The Clue's, Vandersteen Model 1's, Klipsch KG4's, Omega Super 3i's, Fostex Kanspea 3" kit (also highly recommended). Cambridge Audio AXA35, Luxman SQ N150, Rotel RC 1070 and separates.
