The society AAC (stands for "Applications Acoustiques de Composites") is now the owner of AUDAX and took over the production of some designs.
This classic Audax full range driver has a very linear response to 15kHz. The one piece cone and surround has a lively sound with high sensitivity.

Possible box alignments:
- Sealed box of 0.075 to 0.15 cubic feet. 3dB down at 260Hz and 6dB down at 175Hz
- Vented box of 0.075 to 0.1 cubic feet. 1.5" diameter by 3.25" length port. 3dB down at 170Hz, 6dB down at 120Hz.
