Good performance, with very few audio defects/vices, and you can use an exceptionally low crossover freq for this tweeter size, like 1.8kHz-12dB/oct electrical in the Zaph Audio ZA14W8+DQ25SC16-04 project.

Low distortion, inexpensive high quality tweeter. Detailed and articulate, but natural, unlike some other metal dome drivers I have used. The small size promotes close driver mounting, particularly useful in WTW and MTM designs.

Exercise great caution during installation. All metal dome tweeters are fragile and extremely susceptible to mechanical damage. During installation I set a philips head bit next the faceplate, and to my dismay the neodymium magnet field immediately pulled a philips head bit from the edge of the faceplate directly into the dome, denting it (my fault).

Product review of DQ25SC16-04, 'Cool looking neo tweeter. A bit bright at first, but they get much better after a bit of playing. The clarity is outstanding and they create a very good soundstage. I paired it with the M13SG 5.5" woofer and it's a great combo. For only $$, you get a tweeter that has low distortion and great looks. It's easy to understand why Zaph chose this for his design.
