Supra EFF-ISL Analogue Interconnect Cable - 1M Pair with PPX RCA's
Supra's Multi-Test Winner with high price to performance. Multiple length options available from the drop down menu. Silver-plated OFC!
Super quality shielded cable at a reasonable price!
Silver plated OFC 0.5 mm2/conductor. Tube-shaped flexible conductors with a center core of PE. Two conductors, individually screened, for balanced or semi-balanced connection.
EFF–ISL is a 75 ohm Interconnect cable for RCA analog audio signals. Silver-plated conductors enhance the high frequency properties of the cable and a semi–balanced connection configuration makes the EFF cable immune to electro–magnetic interference, making it essentially noise-free.
Skin effect is often neglected but with Equalized Frequency Flow technique (EFF), Supra has taken skin effect into account. This means that around the plastic core the strands are wound forming a conductor tube which forces all frequencies through the same cross section area, well-tuned for the entire audible range. The result is a maintained frequency response without any level changes like treble roll-off or phase shift. The dynamic influence of the skin effect is of great sonic influence as music and also video signals are nothing but variations.
By means of the Equalized Frequency Flow technique (EFF) Supra takes skin effect into account. The EFF-I cable consists of two tube-shaped conductors with a wall thickness of 0.20 mm which is well below the smallest skin depth within the audio range. This makes a wide range of the music (or video) frequencies pass through under the same conditions.
The strands are silver-plated to provide for ultra-high frequencies and are insulated using PE, providing the lowest capacitance. To maintain original signal integrity against RFI an aluminized PET foil is a high bandwidth- efficient shield, keeping noise outside. EFF has a 0.5 mm squared cross-sectional area within a center core of Polyethylene (PE). Both conductors are individually screened for use in balanced or semi-balanced configuration. The screens are connected to ground at only one end of the cable, so there is no signal through the screens and they serve only as screens. The ground connection is at the end where the marking text starts. Ground end connects to the signal source.
