At SB we believe in the importance of subjective listening during the development process to complement the advanced FEM stimulation, motor optimization, diaphragm design, voice coil technology, adhesives etc. We have done extensive listening and also compared to several high priced competing transducers, and at SB Audience we are really excited about the sound of these new drivers. The new line of products incorporate a heavy duty distinctive looking cast aluminium rear chamber that visually define the new products. The chamber has been optimized to minimize resonances and absorb reflections.

Some box suggestions:

Sealed box of 1.8 cubic feet for a 3dB down of 70Hz and 6dB down of 50Hz. You'll need to add some electronic boost to the woofer to extend the low frequencies if using it sealed.

Vented box of 4.0 cubic feet with (2x) 3" vent by 6" long for a 3dB down of 35Hz. 6dB down of 28Hz
