SEAS Prestige 29TFF/W (H1318) Fabric Dome Tweeter- 92dB

High Definition precoated fabric dome tweeter with an integrated wide, precoated fabric surround.

Precoated Sonomex fabric diaphragm allows very tight production tolerances and high consistency.
Wide Sonomex surround for low resonance and excellent mechanical linearity.
Voice coil windings immersed in magnetic fluid increase short term power handling capacity and reduce the compression at high power levels.
Flexible lead out wires allow this driver to be used with low crossover frequencies.
Two part front plate with smooth, slightly elliptical wave guide made from elastomer provide excellent high frequency response and dispersion.
The wave guide conceals (and thus eliminates acoustic effects from) the magnet system screws.

Very detailed and natural sounding

Very detailed and natural sounding, for music look no others or you need to spend double on it, but it is not gonna spark on very top, its more on the smooth side, for sharp "S" look for H1189 but its not gonna be as detailed or you need detail midrange. H1318 is good for 2 way, you can use with 8" woofers, because it does allot of mid-top detailed midrange. Highly recommend.

I paired these with the 6" seas curv woofers, in an MTM design, crossed around 2.5-3k. They are full of detail without being harsh, and have that special clarity and sparkle that I love about quality soft dome tweeters. Cymbals have that perfect sparkle and ting, imaging is incredible. These produce a very strong high end, without being a single bit harsh. Perfect.

'An excellent tweeter, not overly bright or forward! Its attractive inverted faceplate produces a very nice sound field. Compared it with several builds using Vifa tweeters and hate to say it, but it's overall sound quality was much better then the Vifa's! Very Noticeable Improvement!
