Peerless D27TG35-06, 1" Dome Tweeter

Replaced the old Vifa's (D26TG35-06) that were in my Definitive Technology Bp10's with the D27TG35-06' and what a difference! I honestly did not expect the sound difference to be so noticeable! The highs are noticeably cleaner, clearer and detailed and as a result even the mids have become more detailed which contrast has also impactedthe bass. Things sound more separate yet cohesive. The Scanspeak P17WJ-00-00 (8ohm version) and this tweeter (which are updated versions of the BP10's original drivers) has done these speakers much good! Bery pleased with the results.

Delivery was super fast too! So fast in fact..that I had to get the package on the second attempt to deliver...the shippment was nearly next day delivery. This has been my consistent experience with Madisound service, even on orders I purchased as guest before registering to the site. Madisound, thanks for your excellent service and selection.

Product review of D27TG35, 'These are EXCELLENT tweeters! I used them to rebuild a pair of AR-2x and I was able to cross them over at 1900 Hz. They have a low fs of 650Hz and work well for large 2-ways. I had tried similar Morels' but they rolled off at 10 kHz! Morel tested them and confirmed, then gave me a refund. Product review of D27TG35, 'This is the tweeter used in most Dunlavy speakers (SC-I thru Millennium-X). Dunlavy did hand match and tweak them individually so these can sound a little bright but not overly so. Room treatments can compensate for this to an extent.' Review by Larry Buzzy.
