Used for car audio application

I wish I had all the terminology to explain how well these subs perform. I will do my best. I replaced 2 beefy Dayton High Output "HO" DVC subs with 2 of these subs. They just happen to have the same cutout diameter. I wanted something more musical that played a little lower, and played a little higher than the Dayton's. They each get about 500 watts rms in a sealed enclosure, roughly 1 cubic foot each chamber. They are incredibly clean and controlled. The Dayton's had slightly more SPL, but the Morels are extremely accurate, and FAST. It honestly sounds like there's a musical instrument in my trunk. More output than anyone needs. This is not a "basshead" type of sub. It is versatile though and will play down low with no distortion. They also were more suitable for a sealed application, and will hit the lows the authority. Twice the price than the Dayton's. I enthusiastcally recommend these subs.
