Paper cone with a unique Nextel coating ensures smooth frequency response and low distortion. Low distortion, excellent transient response, can tune as low as 30 Hz region in large vented box. For those not familiar, Nextel is a trademarked range of coatings from German company Mankiewicz Gebr. & Co., famous for its matte, suede-like results, extremely popular in electronics and speaker cabinet finishes used by many European brands.

W26FX-002 + SCM634 + ST1108 3way Passive Crossover Design

• 2” diameter high temperature voice coil with black anodized coil former for high power handling and reduced power compression.
• Heavy copper rings mounted above and below the T-shaped pole piece reduce non linear and modulation distortion and increase overload margin.
• A chrome plated brass phase plug reduces compression due to temperature variations in the voice coil, increases long term power handling capacity and eliminates resonances in the cavity inside the voice coil former.
• Extremely stiff and stable injection moulded metal basket with Nextel paint keeps the critical components in perfect alignment.
• Large windows in the basket both above and below the spider reduce sound reflexion, air flow noise and cavity resonance to a minimum.

Suggested Box Alignments

• Sealed box of 0.75 cubic feet for an F3 of 70Hz. 50% filling
• Vented box of 2.3 cubic feet for an F3 of 36Hz. 3" diameter vent by 4" long
• Vented box of 2.75 cubic feet for an F3 of 33Hz. 4" diameter vent by 7.7" long
