Suggested box alignments:

The SB16PFC25-4 in a sealed box of 0.25 to 0.3 cubic feet (7 liters to 8.5 liters) should have a response of 3dB down on the low end of about 80Hz.

A ported enclosure of 0.4 cubic feet (11.3 liters) with a 1.5" diameter vent by 5.5" long should have a 3dB down point of about 55Hz.

A ported enclosure of 0.5 cubic feet (14 liters) with a 1.5" diameter vent by 5" long should have a 3dB down point of about 50Hz.

Wonderful Woofer - A High Performace Driver

This woofer is a standout performer - and it ticks a lot boxes, as it were: paper cone, high compliance suspension, Fs 35Hz, and has a very smooth and extended response; in both directions. It has fairly high sensitivity for its size. It has a vented spider, and the voice coil is vented here, as well. It is an incredible value, and is a great driver that belies its price.

I am using it in 2 different mass loaded transmission line cabinets - the MLTL-6 stand mount, that has a fundamental frequency of 32Hz - which is phenomenal. And the other is the Tower 6, that has an even lower fundamental frequency of 28Hz! The Mms of 13.8 grams means that the midrange quality is also excellent.
