Smooth upper midrange, good output, high Q.

6.5” (176mm) High Fidelity cone driver, developed for use as a high quality woofer or woofer/midrange unit. High Qts above .4 good for sealed box. Coated paper cone gives a smooth extended frequency response with a controlled rolloff. High temperature, light weight, CCAW voice coil wound on an aluminium voice coil former gives a high power handling capacity. The extremely stiff and stable injection moulded metal basket, keeps the critical components in perfect alignment. Large windows in the basket both above and below the spider reduce sound reflection, air flow noise and cavity resonance to a minimum. 

Enclosure suggestions:

• Sealed box of 0.4 - 0.75 cubic foot for an F3 of 65Hz.
• Vented box of 0.75 cubic foot with 2" diameter vent by 3.8" long for an F3 of 47Hz.
• Vented box of 1.0 cubic foot with a 2" diameter vent by 3.5" long for an F3 of 42Hz.
